Growth in 2008, growth in 2009, growth in 2010. I am not a financial analyst, but it seems to me that we are on the right way.
Recharge reports that a 40% growth is expected in 2010, which is more or less the mean value for growth in the number of installed solar cells per year over the last ten years. If this growth continues for the next 20 years, the annual production in 2030 of solar energy will be of more than 40.000 TWh. That is approximately 1/3 of the total energy consumption per year in the world today!
